Learn how patient outcomes and nurse retention rates underscore the value of certification in promoting nursing excellence and a healthy work environment.

    This session will describe nursing enrollment and graduation trends over the past 10 years for Baccalaureate, Masters, and Doctoral programs. The impact of the faculty shortage on meeting the demand for nurses nationally will be addressed as well as the state of clinical placements. Finally, identify some strategies to possibly enhance nurses’ interest in obtaining specialty certifications.

    Tips for a Successful Accreditation Packet for ABSNC/NCCA

    Navigating the third-party accreditation process is a complex, often time-consuming project. Success not only relies on compliance with the selected accreditation standards but understanding how to efficiently demonstrate compliance through documentation and evidence. Leveraging experience with more than 240 credentialing programs and 400+ accreditation applications, the speakers will offer participants insights into common problem areas demonstrating compliance with the requirements. The speakers will also provide advice for successfully navigating the application preparation and review process.

    Learning Outcomes

    • Participants will gain knowledge of common problem areas for accreditation compliance.
    • Participants will discuss tips for preparing a successful accreditation packet.
    • Participants will share experiences navigating the third-party accreditation process.
